The Clear Wave cancellation policy is here to keep bookings fair, simple, and easy to understand. Please read these quick terms before booking a tour, rental, or photo session with Clear Wave TCI.

Cancellation rules

Clear Wave cancellation policy

Our goal is to be fair to guests while also protecting tour times, staff, equipment, and other guests who arrive on time.

Standard cancellation window

Guests may cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund under the Clear Wave cancellation policy.

Cancellations made within 24 hours are not refundable unless Clear Wave approves a different outcome in writing.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling depends on space, tide, weather, staff, and daily operations. We will help when we can, but a new time is not guaranteed.

Late cancellation, missed check-in, or no-show may not qualify for a reschedule.

Public and group tours

Public and group tours leave at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the tour may leave without you.

A missed public or group tour caused by guest lateness is treated as a no-show. Refunds are not given for missed departures caused by late arrival.

Private tours

Private tours are held for the time window you booked. If your group arrives late, the tour may be shorter.

The tour may still end at the scheduled end time. Late arrival does not extend the trip or reduce the price.

Refund expectations

What is not refundable

We want every guest to enjoy the day. Still, some issues are outside Clear Wave’s control or are already explained before booking.

Timing and no-show issues

Guest lateness, missed check-in, missed departure, or no-show is not refundable.
Changing your mind after the cancellation window closes is not refundable.
Unapproved extra guests may be refused if the activity is full or not approved in advance.
Third-party costs such as taxis, hotels, meals, flights, babysitting, or transport are not covered by Clear Wave.

Personal comfort and expectations

Personal preference or deciding the experience was not your style does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Wildlife, water clarity, tide, beach conditions, route, or visibility may differ from your expectation.
Guests should contact us before booking if they have mobility, balance, swimming, medical, or body-size comfort concerns.
Guests who cannot safely board, sit, move, paddle, swim, snorkel, or take part may not qualify for a refund if the concern was not discussed before booking.
Weather and nature

Outdoor tours can change

Clear Wave activities take place in real island conditions. Weather, tide, wind, water clarity, and wildlife can change daily.

Clear Wave may delay, adjust, reschedule, or cancel an activity when weather, wind, tide, lightning, sea state, or safety concerns affect the day.

Routes, launch points, snorkeling, island stops, mangrove access, and timing may change for safety, tide, wind, comfort, or crew direction.

Wildlife sightings

Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Turtles, rays, sharks, birds, iguanas, starfish, and fish are natural and may not appear every day.

Concerns and disputes

Contact us first if something feels wrong

We care about guest experience. If there is a concern, please contact Clear Wave as soon as possible with your booking name, date, activity, and details.

How we review concerns

Concerns should be reported as soon as possible, preferably the same day.
We review booking records, messages, staff notes, weather, and what was provided.
Refunds are not given simply because a guest changed their mind or wanted a free experience.
We may refuse future service for abuse, threats, false claims, damaged equipment, or repeated policy issues.

Payment disputes and chargebacks

By booking with Clear Wave TCI, guests agree that the Clear Wave cancellation policy, safety rules, waiver terms, and activity notes are part of the booking agreement.

If a guest files a payment dispute after receiving the service, missing the tour, arriving late, or breaking policy, Clear Wave may respond with booking records.

Those records may include confirmations, waivers, messages, check-in notes, photos, videos, GPS or timing records, weather records, staff notes, and service records.

False or misleading claims may be disputed and may affect future booking eligibility with Clear Wave TCI.

Guest responsibility

Help us keep the day safe

These rules apply whether you book directly, through Peek, Tripadvisor, Viator, a hotel, a travel agent, or another booking partner.

Before arrival

Provide the correct guest count, ages, contact details, date, and activity selection.
Review your confirmation and contact us quickly if anything is wrong.
Tell us before booking if you have concerns about mobility, swimming, balance, pregnancy, medical needs, or body-size comfort.
Book the activity that matches your comfort level and group needs.

During the activity

Arrive on time and be ready for check-in, safety briefing, boarding, launch, or equipment release.
Follow crew instructions, posted rules, safety briefings, conservation rules, and local restrictions.
Do not abuse, threaten, insult, harass, or endanger staff, guides, captains, other guests, or the public.
Guests are responsible for phones, cameras, jewelry, sunglasses, towels, bags, and personal items.

Rentals and equipment

Rental guests must not damage, drag, scratch, overload, misuse, steal, or fail to return Clear Wave equipment.
Repair, cleaning, replacement, loss, late return, or missing-item charges may apply when equipment is not returned properly.

Include your booking name, activity, date, phone number, and a clear note about what happened. Written details help us review the matter fairly.

Are wildlife sightings guaranteed?

No. Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Nature, weather, tide, and water clarity can change every day.

Can Clear Wave respond to a chargeback?

Yes. Clear Wave may respond to a payment dispute with booking records, waiver records, messages, staff notes, photos, videos, and service records.
